OUR MISSION

Cadence is a public benefit a cappella group based in New York City. We operate as a professional performing group, enlivening and entertaining at any event, and use the proceeds to fund our mission to spread the joy of music, and to lift people’s spirits with the use of just our voices. We lift spirits by performing at senior living communities, hospitals, and schools, and we multiply our impact by providing entertainment at fund-raising events for causes we believe in.

Our SINGERS

As individuals, we are young professionals in the arts, business, medicine, education, and more. Together, we are a band of friends, a family of neighbors, and a carefully blended four-part harmony ensemble in collegiate a cappella style.

OUR MUSIC

We perform original arrangements, covering Oldies and Motown, Classic Rock Hits, Love Ballads, Children and Disney Favorites, and much more. We also maintain a repertoire of Hebrew and Jewish music for appropriate events.

Creating Cadence

Cadence was established in 2010 by a group of friends who loved singing together in Kaskeset at Binghamton. Knowing how much joy music brings to us, we decided that the mission of our group was to make others smile with the music we make.  From 2016-2018, Cadence performed monthly as Musicians in Residence at the Manhattan JCC in support of families with young children.
